BANGKOK (Reuters) – The strengthening of Thailand’s baht was consistent with regional currencies, the central financial institution mentioned in a press release on Friday.
The foreign money strengthened as a consequence of a weakening greenback as buyers anticipated much less aggressive charge hikes from the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Financial institution of Thailand mentioned, including that monetary markets remained risky.
