UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – America warned Iran on the United Nations on Monday that if it undertakes any additional aggressive acts towards Israel or U.S. personnel within the area “there shall be extreme penalties.”
“We won’t hesitate to behave in self protection. Let there be no confusion. America doesn’t need to see additional escalation. We consider this ought to be the top of the direct alternate of fireside between Israel and Iran,” U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield advised the council.
