A unit of Genus Energy Infrastructures Ltd. has bagged a Rs 1,026.31-crore order to produce and set up about 10 lakh good metres.
The order entails the design of a complicated metering infrastructure system with provide, set up and commissioning; a versatile manufacturing system of about 1,000,000 good pay as you go metres and system metres—together with DT metres—with corresponding vitality accounting on a DBFOOT (Design-Construct Finance-Personal-Function-Switch) foundation, in keeping with an trade submitting on Thursday.
“With the addition of the current order, our complete order e book has now surpassed the numerous milestone of Rs 20,000 crore (internet of taxes),” the corporate’s Joint Managing Director, Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, stated.
The Jaipur-based firm claims to carry a 27% market share in India’s electrical energy metering options trade and its clients embody main state electrical energy boards and personal utilities.
In October, Genus Energy Infra bagged orders value Rs 3,115 crore for the provision of 34.8 lakh good metres.
Agarwal had earlier advised NDTV Revenue that the electrical energy metre manufacturing agency expects multifold development in earnings in fiscal 2025.
Shares of Genus Energy closed 2.34% decrease at Rs 223.35 apiece forward of the announcement on Thursday, as in contrast with a 1.34% advance within the benchmark BSE Sensex.
