2,790 new houses have been bought in Israel in March 2023, the Central Bureau of Statistics studies, up 9.4% from February 2023. 7,960 new houses have been bought between January and March 2023.

Partly the rise in March mirrored an increase in gross sales of residences in authorities backed packages, which represented 48.5% of all residences bought, in contrast with 35.5% within the first three months of the yr.
Within the first three months of 2023, extra new houses have been bought in Jerusalem than anyplace else – 865. In second place was Netivot (818) adopted by Ashkelon (425), Petah Tikva (404), Ramat Gan (319), Beersheva (299), Haifa (251), Beit Shemesh (242) and Tel Aviv (235).
