(Reuters) – The San Francisco Worldwide Airport’s worldwide terminal was evacuated on late on Friday after police discovered a suspicious object on the airport following a bomb risk, police stated in a tweet.
The San Francisco police stated on Twitter (NYSE:) that officers acquired a bomb risk on the airport and located a suspicious package deal on investigation.
“As a result of ongoing police exercise the Int’l Terminal is being evacuated,” the airport stated in a tweet round midnight.
The airport stated it had additionally suspended its AirTrain and Bay Space Speedy Transit trains service following the bomb risk.
The Related Press reported that police had taken a person into custody.
San Francisco police didn’t instantly reply to a request asking for extra particulars.
