Warner Bros. Discovery’s (NASDAQ:WBD) head of company communications, Nathaniel Brown, is leaving the corporate after almost two years on the job.
Brown’s resignation was introduced by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) CEO David Zaslav in a memo to workers considered by Selection. Zaslav referred to as Brown a “tireless and formidable advocate for the corporate,” and that Brown performed a “vital position in positioning Discovery to accumulate WarnerMedia.”
Brown joined Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) in April 2019 from twenty first Century Fox (DIS). He was promoted to Chief Company Communications Officer in April 2022 after serving as Head of International Communications for 3 years.
On this place, he was tasked with international communications for the corporate and its international enterprise segments together with Warner Bros’ movement image, animation, TV, HBO, CNN, and Eurosport divisions.
A supply cited by Selection claims the choice to go away was mutual between Brown and Zaslav, and that Brown has no plans for his subsequent place.
A substitute has not been named and a search will possible give attention to candidates from outdoors the enterprise. Till then, Laura Watson, head of govt communications, and Katie Martin Kelley, head of Warner Bros. Movement Image Group communications will assume Brown’s obligations on an interim foundation.
